High Commissioner-designate of Sri Lanka to the United Kingdom Nimal Senadheera who arrived in London on 14 June 2025, assumed duties at the High Commission on 16 June. High Commissioner-designate Senadheera was received upon arrival at Heathrow Airport by Mr. Gordon Wetherell CMG, Special Representative of the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs.
We regret our inability to invite you to join us at the Independence Day celebrations at the Sri Lanka High Commission in London due to the current COVID-19 pandemic related restrictions.
Although we are unable to celebrate Independence together, we invite you to witness the celebrations via our Social media accounts on 04 February 2021, 11.00 am onwards.
