SUPPLY OF ELECTRICAL POWER FROM RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES ON BUILD OWN OPERATE BASIS (BOO) FOR 20 YEAR CONTRACT PERIOD
The Government of Sri Lanka has targeted to achieve 70% of the electricity demand of country from Renewable Energy (RE) sources by 2030.
In this regard, the Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority (SLSEA), and the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) jointly invites proposals from prospective Investors (foreign and/or local), to invest and setup renewable energy projects in Sri Lanka to develop and generate electrical energy through Solar (Floating/Ground Mounted), Wind (Ground based/Offshore) and Biomass etc. and supply such electrical energy to the Ceylon Electricity Board of Sri Lanka. » Read more
