Sri Lankan Officer Commissioned from Royal Military Academy Sandhurst

Sri Lankan Officer Cadet Mohammed Aneek has been officially Commissioned as an officer following his successful completion of the rigorous 44-week training programme at the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. The Commissioning Ceremony took place during the Sovereign’s Parade on 9 August 2024, a revered Sandhurst tradition marking the culmination of intense training for officer cadets.

High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to the United Kingdom, His Excellency Rohitha Bogollagama, was in attendance to personally congratulate Officer Cadet Aneek on this momentous achievement.

This Sovereign’s Parade saw the Commissioning of 209 officer cadets from various nations, all of whom have undergone one of the most challenging military training programmes in the world. The parade signifies not only the end of their training but also the beginning of their military careers as Commissioned Officers.
