High Commissioner Manisha Gunasekera Visits London Buddhist Vihara
On assuming duties, the newly appointed High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to the United Kingdom, Manisha Gunasekera visited the London Buddhist Vihara on Tuesday 23rd October 2018 to receive the blessings of Ven Bogoda Seelawimala Thero, the Chief Sanghanayake of Great Britain, and other members of the clergy.
The Chief Incumbent of the Vihara Ven Bogoda Seelawimala Thero and other resident monks chanted Pirith to bless the new High Commissioner. Deputy High Commissioner Sugeeshwara Gunaratna, and Members of the Management Committee of the London Buddhist Vihara Dr Lucky Panagoda and Mr. Gamini Amarasekera also participated in the event.
