Sri Lanka High Commission participates in ‘Sri Lanka Revival’ tourism launch hosted by AITO and partners

The Sri Lanka High Commission in London extended its support towards ‘Sri Lanka Revival’ tourism launch held on Tuesday 16 July 2019 in London. This was a coordinated effort by The Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO) and its members Travel Gallery and Experience Travel Group, the Sri Lankan tourism industry, and supported by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB).

High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Manisha Gunasekera participated in the four-member panel discussion along with members of the travel industry. The event was attended by over 90 members of the travel and tourism industry and tourism media in the UK, as well as Sri Lankan cricket celebrity Mahela Jayawardene who also addressed the audience. The High Commission support was coordinated by Minister (Commercial) Dr. Lakmini Mendis and her team. Sri Lanka tourism was represented by Managing Director of SLTPB, Chamarie Maelge.
