Sri Lanka High Commissioner Rohitha Bogollagama visited the Kingsbury Sri Saddhatissa International Buddhist Centre in the United Kingdom

Sri Lanka High Commissioner Rohitha Bogollagama visited the Kingsbury Sri Saddhatissa International Buddhist Centre in the United Kingdom on 26 November 2023.

High Commissioner Rohitha Bogollagama was greeted by Ven. Handupelpola Mahinda Thero, Ven. Akuratiye Nanda Thero, Ven. Wilbagedara Gnanissara Thero, Ven. Galayaye Dhammadassi Thero, and Ven. Hallindola Hemaloka Thero together with the Sri Lankan Buddhist community associated with the temple.

The High Commissioner had a productive discussion with the Maha Sanga on engagements between the Sri Lanka-United Kingdom in the spears of politics, economics, and culture. The High Commissioner also briefed the Maha Sanga on the recruitment of Sri Lankan workers to the health care industry and agricultural sector of the United Kingdom.
